About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced People Partner to join our dynamic People Team at AerFin, within a fast-paced, growing business. In this hands-on role, you will report directly to the Head of People and Talent and collaborate closely with the other People Partner, the Recruitment team, and the L&D Director. You will build strong relationships across the business and helping employees with HR-related matters. You will be promoting a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting employee development. A key aspect of this position is working with the People team to ensure seamless communication and alignment of our people strategy across all locations. You will partner with the business to enhance employee engagement and help implement the people strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Lead HPC (High Performance Culture) initiatives to enhance employee experience.
- Build trusted relationships across the business, serving as the first point of contact for employees and a strategic partner to senior leaders. Deliver a consistent, professional HR service, lead change, drive innovative solutions, and provide expert guidance on areas such as legislative updates.
- Review and implement HR policies and practices that align with the company’s goals and values, improve efficiency and productivity, and support the needs of our employees.
- Advise on remuneration and reward packages to ensure both competitiveness and fairness.
- Utilise the HR software system (HiBob) to maximum potential, to minimise HR administration and provide people data, e.g., staff turnover, absence, etc
- Provide first line advice on a range of HR issues for employees and managers
- Manage complex employee relations issues from start to finish, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, redundancy and Settlement Agreements as required.
- Support local Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and ESG initiatives, ensuring alignment with company strategy while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Experience
- A self-starter with proven experience in an equivalent role.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified/willing to work towards, or equivalent.
- People-oriented, with excellent active listening, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to tactfully and thoughtfully manage complex and difficult situations.
- Excellent current knowledge of UK employment law legislation
- Global experience in the US or Singapore would be nice to have, but not essential
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
