About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Finance Business Partner who combines commercial insight with transformation leadership. This role will focus on driving process improvement and digital innovation across the finance function. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in simplifying reporting, enhancing data-driven decision-making, and will act as the finance lead for a future ERP system implementation when the business is ready. The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen and hands-on expertise in Power BI and Power Query, enabling scalable, efficient solutions that support AerFin’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and redesign finance processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Develop and implement scalable Power BI dashboards and Power Query solutions to automate reporting and improve financial visibility.
- Standardise and document finance workflows to support scalability and readiness for future system transitions.
- Provide scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Support the month-end close process with variance analysis and performance commentary.
- Simplify and support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting across AerFin.
- Drive financial literacy across the business through training, engagement, and collaboration.
- Act as a bridge between Finance, IT, and external partners to ensure alignment of transformation efforts and technical requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in finance business partnering and transformation.
- Strong technical finance background with commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and advanced Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and scenario planning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
