About the role
Due to exceptional and continuous growth, we are currently seeking a Paralegal to join our legal team in Newport, Wales / Crawley, England. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting the Legal Team and other internal staff members. This entails tasks like drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting thorough legal research, and managing various administrative and legal matters.

Responsibilities:
Handling administrative tasks for the Legal Team, including but not limited to, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of contracts and spreadsheets, legal matters, processing invoices, and coordinating document execution (e.g., sending for signature);
Completing KYC forms and reviewing KYC / AML documentation, monitoring sanction alerts in our compliance tool;
Assisting in drafting and updating data protection documentation;
Assisting in drafting and reviewing various legal documents such as NDAs, terms and conditions, transactional documents, company procedures and policies;
Assisting in drafting board minutes and/or written resolutions;
Maintaining legal templates and precedents;
Assisting with implementation of legal tech tools;
Liaising with internal departments and externally;
Respond to legal requests and triage matters
You will ideally need the following:
Law degree or equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to multitask
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage a busy caseload
Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment
Handle confidential information with discretion
Flexible and collaborative approach to working with others
Previous legal experience in aviation and/or corporate M&A, commercial or finance preferred but not essential
