About the Role

We're looking for an MRO Stores Officer to join our Engine MRO operation and play a key role in supporting the effective movement, storage and control of aircraft engine materials, tooling and associated equipment.

Working closely with operational, technical and supply chain teams, you'll ensure inventory is accurately managed, materials are handled safely and efficiently, and operational activities are supported through effective stores management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys being part of a team that keeps aviation assets moving.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting Engine MRO operations through the control, storage and movement of materials, tooling and equipment.

  • Receiving, identifying and storing engine materials and components in line with company procedures.

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and updating company systems as required.

  • Moving stock and materials to the correct storage locations and operational work areas.

  • Carrying out inventory checks and supporting stock accuracy initiatives.

  • Supporting engine preservation and storage activities, ensuring materials and associated hardware are available when required.

  • Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate handling techniques and equipment.

  • Ensuring stores areas remain organised, safe and compliant with company standards.

  • Completing routine inspections and operational checks as required.

  • Working closely with colleagues across Operations, Technical and Supply Chain teams to support business requirements.

  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, health and safety and operational compliance.

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the stores and MRO functions.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within stores, warehouse, inventory or logistics operations.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience maintaining accurate stock and inventory records.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

  • Comfortable working in a busy operational environment.

  • Good IT skills and experience using inventory or ERP systems.

Desirable

  • Aviation, aerospace or MRO industry experience.

  • Forklift Truck Licence.

  • Experience using Quantum or similar ERP systems.

  • Knowledge of aircraft engine or component handling processes.

  • Previous experience supporting technical or maintenance operations.
